    1. It is Not easy to mitigate irrational demands. BSNL is actually on the top, what to speak of JIO & Co., but for its after sale services. It is only the employees of BSNL, from GM to linesmen, who made it a loser. Plans from BSNL, from BB to mobile, are the best.

  4. BSNL authority should think about the old customers also. Service quality of Bankura, WB is very poor. Telephone goes out of order at least once in a month. I use BB 945 plan but never receive the declared speed.

  8. It is very good news to hear that BSNL Unlimited broadband plan 249 is available to new broadband customers. But it is very unfair to say that existing customers cannot avail of this facility. Is it a limited period offer to the new customers from 9.9.2016 to 31.10.2016. After 31.10.2016 will it be extended to the existing customers or will it be scrapped? In any case this offer should be extended to the existing customers like me who have been paying 770/ to 800/- rupees per month for the last over 8 years. In a month 3 - 4 days internet doesn't work due to technical reasons, but the bill amount is not reduced. It works out to Rs. 26/- per day - 4 days. in a month - Rs 104/-. Please consider this plan 249/- to be extended to the new customers as well

    1. i am also using bsnl broadband for 10 years and this is such a bad news for old customers even though some of them are happy for 499 plan but the issue is equal rights to existing users even if they dont treat us like special better to disconnect and try other isp for some moths like jio since competition is good

  9. since this offer is to prevent migration to relianceJio and such other ISPs, and since those companies have no such 6 month condition, BSNL also could have put no such condition.

  20. Dear Friends Please compare the OPTICAL NETWORK of BSNL with others.. Then only you can understand the HUGE DATA INFRA is in BSNL. No other operators comparable. All are having infra for VOICE only.. Bsnl alone have sufficient huge data infra

  24. All telecom operators are cheating our nation.

    For example bsnl:

    All the subscribers total usage is definitely very very less than what the bsnl's infrastructure can handle.whether voice or data.

    Particularly during night bsnl's infrastructure usgae will be less than 10%.

    which we can know from the fact that they give us 2 mbps for upto 1GB at the start of every month.

    which definiteley means we are not using the bsnl's total infrastructure's full capablity for the remaining 29 days of the month.

    But whether we use it to its full capablity or not bsnl will have to spend its maintenance like electricity bill & staff salary.

    So why not bsnl allow all subscriber's to get a minimum of their guaranteed speed and what ever the bsnl's balance bandwidth which goes useless is distributed equally to all customers then we can make use of the bsnl's infrastructur to its maximum capablity and subscribers will be very happy also.
    Just because they want to make more money they are not ready to utilize the infrastructure to its maximum capablity.

    And they must understand the very infrastructure of bsnl is also built from the indian public money.

    The above logic goes true for all the telecom operators.

  28. Super plan 249 for poor people able use Internet,but existing customers are unable use this offer so they're encourage with special discounts like lift service and other taxes otherwise they will shift other networks so think bank "All are equal before Digital India"

  30. When I inquired about the 249 unlimited plan from a BSNL executive this morning in their office, the lady just stared at me, surprised. She is not aware of it. They didn't even have application forms for any new broadband connections. FYI, their office is in an elite area.

  31. Also dont forget the “interest rate” of thousands of rupees for security deposit of old customers will be swallowed by BSNL and not returned the more number of years you are with BSNL more money you lose

    to calculate the amount lost use this formula
    I=PRT where P =total security deposit ,R= rate of interest (8.25%),T=number of years

    example I=PRT so I=1500x0.0825x3 = 371.25rs

    3 years customer , 1500 rs security, money lost in interest = 371.25 rs
    5 years customer, 1500rs security, money lost in interest= 618.75 rs
    5 years customer, 3000rs security, money lost in interest= 1237.5 rs
    10 years customer, 3000rs security, money lost in interest= 2475 rs

    The idiotic BSNL top officials have given plans without thinking of old loyal customers .Instead of being happy we should show our protest by writing mail to bsnl and disconnecting existing connection and also mention the reason for disconnection is because of this unequal treatment.maybe then BSNL will remember the old customers.

    in bsnl website it is written "Installation charges shall be waived off during promotional period"
    but office members and customers care are telling 600(for landline)+250(for broadband) installation charges shall be applyed
    plzzz help

  37. I am willing to invest rupees ten thousand as one time deposit for minimum period of 2 years.Will the BSNL provice free internet and free calling as applied in the 249 Plan? If so the BSNL could make the deposits for upgrading their services.At the same tkme the customer can enjoy the service.

  40. BSNL remains the same “tainted BSNL”only. What is the fun of introducing new products and plans when you're carrying along the old stigma of “we don't care" about the customer. BSNL staff is unresponsive . In fact, it won't be wrong to describe them as thick-skin people. They don't bother to expand their operations by adding new customers. The new scheme , popularly known as BB 249 for new customers will close on 31st October, 2016. I have raised my online request for installation of new broadband internet connection for my home atleast six/seven times but, the BSNL staff don't bother to process it further. They just called me over my mobile phone twice only to promise that one of their staff will visit my place “within next two days" which never happened. I don't know what sort of customer service they will be extending after installation of connection when they're not able to even process my request for installation of connection though I had submitted the same online for seven times.
    Is there somebody who could awake them out of deep slumber and ask them to process my request for installation of new Broadband internet connection at my house? I will be highly grateful for this help. - MOHINDER SINGH, 1333/68 MOHALI (9915949661)

  41. This not true. It is unfair trade and misguiding the public. I got a connection in this scheme. For 20 days no net.Now they have stopped it. No bill. I checked on net. Bill amount 1175. Beware of al;l BSNL or any government schemes.Thanks to reliance Jio. They are true to their words. Net is free 24 hours.
