New Year starts with January 2017 and BSNL IDA Rates of Employees effective from 01.01.2017 is going to record a decline. This is effective from New Year 2017 for all executive and non executive BSNL employees.

CPI records one month decrease and one month increment in the figures for two months. For September 2016 it decreases by one point, but increased by one point for October 2016, but again decreased by 1 for November 2016. Totally AICPI stands at 277 as on 30.11.2016.
Based on this average of Consumer Price Index Numbers for Industrial Workers CPI(IW). BSNL IDA rates of employees records a decline upto 0.8% from the present IDA rates of 120.3. Have a look at the BSNL IDA rates.
Due to Demonetization effect, some of the prices are also started decreasing, If it really happens continuously, then the CPI Index automatically decreased. Department of Public Enterprises will issue the orders for the decline in IDA rates from 01.01.2017, then after BSNL will issue the orders for New IDA rates to be paid, which is going to record a new decline in BSNL IDA rates of employees from New Year 2017.
