  2. Really amazing STVs launched by BSNL. Keep it up. But retailers don't know about these offers.
BSNL should work on its marketing strategy to make these STVs popular in between the customers.
We can't see any advertisement at any local shop. What does it means?
    Answer everybody knows, ......

    Keep it up BSNL.

  7. In this article, it seems that STV 88 applies also for per second plan and calls would be charged at 1 p/sec for BSNL and 2p/Sec for Other networks. But in the BSNL web site while recharging, it shows only under per minute plan. Kindly get the clarification from BSNL officials about this.

    1. BSNL STV88 is applicable for both Per Second and Per Minute Plans, If you are in Per Second Plan and recharged STV88, you will get 1ps/3sec for own and 2ps/3sec for others.
If you are in Per Minute Plan and recharged the voucher, you will get 10ps/min for BSNL and 30ps/min for others.

    2. Thanks for the above reply. BSNL site for recharges states that STV 88 is for per minute plan and STV 42 is for per second plan. This can be verified by visiting the site.

Another pity is that BSNL does not honour these STVs even after accepting the payment, properly acknowledged by SMS and sending receipts. The STVs are not activated. After a long time, they are refunded. Even the CSC (Vellore) is not aware of these STVs. They simply say that these STVs are not applicable to my case/number. I presume that BSNL is just boasting of lot of attractive STVs without activating them.

    3. Though there was no precondition mentioned in the above STVs announcements, BSNL has not honoured these STVs for those who opted for (Tamilnadu) Nesam Gold plan. For utilising these STVs, one has to opt for either Per Second/Per Minute plan also spending another ₹36/₹37 payment in addition to the above STVs. In effect the cost per call is boosted indierctly. Moreover BSNL CSCs are not aware of these provisions or pre-conditions. And BSNL web site for Recharges also do not mention these pre-conditions.

    1. Please analyse well before switching over to BSNL. BSNL makes lot of announcements which in effect do not take into effect. Lot of hidden conditions are there. Do not simply jump without analysing. Best wishes.

  13. It happenned to me also. I had Nesam Gold Plan. Due to this plan, my recharge for RC88 got refunded after few days. When I contacted the Customer Service Centre in Vellore, I was told so. I switched over to PV36-Per Second Plan. Then this STV88 got accepted. So, better call the CSC near to your area for more help.
