BSNL Selfcare Portal Registration for Online Customer Care

Indian Telecom Major has launched BSNL Selfcare Portal, which makes easier for all its customers with new Online Services available at their fingertips through Portal named as BSNL Selfcare. This customer care allows all new subscriptions / additional facilities like plan change, complaints of BSNL Broadband and Landline Services along with most required BSNL Online Payment.

BSNL Selfcare Portal Registration Page

BSNL Customer is encouraged to register themselves to avail various provided services and offers with their allotted Customer ID. BSNL Bill account number and Customer ID / Unique ID are two completely different identity parameters. Do not use Billing account number in the registration process. Customer ID usually may starts with 3 and Billing account by 8/9, but can be different for landline or broadband customer.
BSNL Selfcare Portal Registration
If the customer is availing BSNL Broadband connection they are advised to proceed the registration with “Do you have Broadband with Y option” along with Broadband user id for instant validation and confirmation to use the service. If the customer only having Landline connection without broadband, BSNL executive will validate the request by calling the customer and then confirmation will be given.

BSNL Selfcare Portal - Customer Usage Process

After Successful Login into Selfcare BSNL Portal, Initially “Home Page” of BSNL Customer Care Portal will open, and where all yours currently availed service will be displayed including any special discounts of the customer as complete profile.

For further information and requests please click on “Service” tab on the left upper corner of the page. After a click on that, you are ready by displaying all the services at right side of the page in "My Services" to make the requests of your BSNL Broadband Plans and Landline Plans to change the facilities and check the usage / payments etc.

  3. I forgot password for http://selfcare.wdc.bsnl.co.in. By using forgot password facility on this portal I am getting a message that my password has been reset and new password has been sent to my registered email id. But in fact I am unable to get any message after numerous attempts. There is no contact number for making a complaint. By using the complaint option on this portal I always get a message that a previous complaint has been lodged for this LL number and therefore new complaint cannot be lodged until the previous complaint is resolved. Overall I am unable to make use of this portal. Any suggestion for resolving the problem are welcome.

I had forgotten my password; I had asked the system to reset my password by answering the hint question correctly; then the system prompted me a password; by using my user id and the password obtained from the system as mentioned above, i am still unable to login into the portal; the system still says user id or password is wrong; I will say the portal is not user friendly;

    My tel no. 01242213168 is out of service since 10 June, 2014 but bill is generated every month inspite of several complaint and false kind of grievances redressal mechanism created by BSNL. A lineman is still in habit of some kind of compensation for working besides salary.

    Since many days our phone is dead. and before that there was too much disturbance in the phone. because of which we are unable to the phone since many days. i have lodged complain and as well as visited your office. but no action taken. i am your customer for many years. and not to forget the broadband user (unlimited scheme). please do something. Even though have taken this scheme, i have to charge mobile phone every now and then. one of our relative is in hospital and i had to make frequent calls. please do somethng.

      Thank you for the information. I am also from Chennai and my problem in the portal was even after registering I wasn't able to login. The problem was some verification error. I used the above number 044- 23711902 and a kind lady who attended said it was a different problem and after 2 hours they rectified the problem and called me to check it. It worked , thanks a lot for the numbers, really helped me

    I have already talked to Customer Care Several times but I am being told your Password has been approved but I didn't get it yet via email . Kindly suggest any other way .

    I forgot my User ID, could you please help on how to get the User ID. As I see that there is an option to reset the password, but there is no option to know the User ID which is forgotten. At least if they send the User ID to registered mail, it would have been very much helpful or is there any other way to get the user ID ?

  19. Looks like this customer portal site is a HOAX. Even after registrartion, the login does not work. Still keeps saying the password is incorrect. I have rest my pwd many number of times still the same isssue. Worst ever customer service portal... BSNL - WORST HAI MERE LIYE

  20. Its a joke on customers. We try to register by giving proper details and also get the mail saying user id created successfully. But, unable to login and says user id or password incorrect. How can it be wrong when the id was created 5 mins back?

    Also, which other application/portal have you seen where user id SHOULD have a number in it?

  24. 1. broadband complaint booking number 1504 do not proceed beyond (press 1 or 2) option for language selection
    2. broadband helpline number 0151-2522033/2522511 always remains unattended
    3. For retrieving password on selfcare portal, it says that new password will be generated and will be sent your e-mail. since about one year, repeated efforts to retrieve lost password gives same msg but could never get new generated password on any my e-mail....
    4. I booked complaint through "book complaint without login" option on selfcare portal. the complained was booked and complaint ID# was given, next day an official from bsnl called and asked about problem in broadband connection. then this complaint was disposed off as resolved without factually solving the problem....
    BSNL employee seems to take salary for harassing it's customers rather than solving problems.....

    please help i want to port out my number (9411232418) BSNL to other operator i have try my port out request 9 times but same my port out request has been rejected due to :- Rejected as port in acknowledgement response is negative with following reason. There are subsisting contractual obligation from the Subscriber agreement,but i dont have any aggreement to BSNL i have purchesed a normal prepaid sim so i request u kindly approve the my port out requestfor the same

  30. We're very sorry to inform you the BSNL Gandhidham (Kutch) all officers and the general public of any incorrect information when recycling is just annoying,
    My BSNL L.L. No. 02836-226765 of which 11/05/2015 to 29/06/2015 edition of BSNL line was closed and had to make a tremendous difference in the Trade.
    We constantly complain was 4 to 5 times from the date 10/06/2015.
    the date 28.06.2015 in writing which. But now from 01/06/2015 to 30/06/2015 bill Rs. 271 / - and inaccurate reports of the said 17 days,
    our phone is locked and bill Rs. 126 / - was cut from 17 days to pay off the bill on how to ask and said strut been spoken "If you fill
    the bill Bleed & not Bleed" We should do so, take a phone call from BSNL the biggest mistake proved to be.

We have taken the BSNL broadband combo plan rural area 650/ per month(annual payment)from 2014/12/29 as of now but we are unable to use the internet service for which we are paying.There is no internet access from the day we got connection.Its been one year since we kept complaining but response was really pathetic and sad.Not even one day we are getting a stable internet access throughout and the speed while we get the internet access is 50kbps or max 290kbps with which we are not even enable to check our mail as a basic need.You can check our data usage for the past year and hence you will understand.The SNR value is 4.2 as said by the customer care executive(12678).Hoping for an immediate action on this.

    Is there any way the problem will be resolved or else we have to stop broadband connection from bsnl !

  39. I am not able to download Bill after payment from portal. I want to check detail summary bill with charges.

    Online payment receipt do not have Account Holder Name in it. Receipt is rejected in Tax Payment due to same.

  40. I was trying to change my land line tariff, online. Found the process tedious. At the end of it, could not do it. I am a registered user. But the format which came up, asked for Service id, which I didnt know . Call canter gave me an no which was not accepted. There were two other astericked fileds 'type of request' and sub 'type of request'. First , these fields could not be accessed - when the curser was moved on these, no fields came up for entries. And even if they had come, I would not know what to enetr. The standards most formats follow in such cases is : when I move the curser over a field, the facility to enter comes up. If I dont know what to enter, a right click provied help. None of these were happening and I was forced to give up.

  42. Selcare is not user friendly at all. I have tried several times to get the forget the password or new user registration. it says either user ID or email or customer ID does not match but what does not match it does not inform. very poorly written software.

  43. I used http://selfcare.ndc.bsnl.co.in (north zone). After login on usage of website I kept getting the message
    500 Internal Server Error
    The Web Dynpro application 'PageBuilder' has expired. Restart the application. Choose 'Refresh' in the iView tray or use the browser 'Refresh' button to restart the iView

    This happened on IE 11 (with and without compatibility mode) and FF 43.0.1
    But I am able to use the site on Chrome (Version 47.0.2526.106 m).
    Still have to try and change my BB plan, but at least was able to traverse the site. Hope this helps anybody stuck with same issue.

This is regarding my BSNL landline phone 03532555638 which is been dead since last 2 months and inspite of repeated complaint and information to the respected authority not a single step has been taken for maintenance instead I am really dissapointed to say that no one bothers our suffering for inability to get any calls becouse of dead phone.

  59. The concept of BSNL is no doubt good! But, the way in which it works is a big mess! dominated by administration,finance & accounts! All the records are with them; yet they insist on a request for giving the 10% discount eligible for the PSU employees! in the name of latest, they go on tinkering with the procedures every now & then!I have to try several times for the quick pay!! Learn from organizations like Sundaram Finance or TVS; otherwise, simply hand over to them and quit.
