BSNL Offers 3.6 Mbps 3G Data Card at Rs.500 to ADSL PostPaid Broadband Customers

GSM 3.6 Mbps Data Card at Rs.500 & 800
India's No:1 and Largest Broadband subscriber base telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigham Limited (BSNL) has again relaunched the amazing offer, by announcing the reduced sale price of 3.6 Mbps 3G GSM USB Data Card(Dongle) for Rs.500 to ADSL PostPaid Broadband customers in all BSNL Telecom circles as a promotional offer for 90 days from 17th July 2013.

To provide uninterrupted broadband services to customers, BSNL has announced this offer of 3G GSM data card (3.6 Mbps) at reduced sale price as a back-up to the customers of ADSL postpaid Broadband connectivity under ADSL Broadband plans.

This new announced promotional scheme shall be available in all the circles with immediate effect on promotional basis for 90 days with the following conditions.

  • Sale price of 3.6 Mbps 3G GSM data card at reduced price:- Rs. 800/- (Exclusive of VAT). 
  • SUK (Start Up Kit) with 1GB free data usage embedded in the SIM with a validity of 30 days- Rs.132 (Exclusive of S. Tax).
  • SUK price includes price of Normal SIM and if the customer wants USIM, additional Rs.59 is to be charged.  
  • The bundled free data usage of 1 GB is to be used within 30 days from the date of activation.
  • Plan voucher - Rs.51(Inclusive of S.Tax and 200 MB free data usage to be used within 30 days from the date of activation) shall be purchased for activation of data plan.
  • Sale price of 3.6 Mbps 3G GSM data card(Dongle) at reduced price:- Rs. 500/- (Exclusive of VAT).
  • SUK (Start Up Kit) with 1GB free data usage embedded in the SIM with a validity of 30 days- Rs.132 (Exclusive of S. Tax).
  • SUK price includes price of Normal SIM and if the customer wants USIM, additional Rs.59 is to be charged.
  • The bundled free data usage of 1 GB is to be used within 30 days from the date of activation.

3. After first month, customers are required to recharge their data card by 3G Data Special Tariff Vouchers at market operated offered by BSNL.

4. The data cards may be offered through BSNL CSC(Customer Service Center) only, after verification of credential of the customer i.e. the last paid bill of the BSNL ADSL Postpaid Broadband connection in respect of existing customer and proof of having taken BSNL Broadband connection in respect of new customer, till the stock lasts, against purchase of SUK bundle plan voucher and on submission of CAF (Customer Application Form). 

5. Only one Data Card (3.6 Mbps 3G GSM data card) shall be offered to the customer against one BSNL ADSL Broadband connection.

 BSNL headquarters has issued all instructions to all their circles for implementing the new promotional offer of 3.6 Mbps 3G GSM Data Card(Dongle) at reduced sale price for Rs.500 and Rs.800 with above conditions for all the existing and new ADSL Postpaid Broadband customers from 17-July-2013 to 14-October-2013.

  1. It is not clear from the details whether 3 G Data Card is supported
    by all Windows including Windows 8 launched by Microsoft in 2012.

  2. I think this datacard scheme is only applicable for those ADSL postpaid customers whose monthly charges for internet are higher than 600 Rs but what about those customers whose monthly plan is of 500 and less than it.

  3. My plan is combo unlimited 1350 BB
    How much monthly charge for 3G unlimited data ?
    It's stick data or card ?

    1. It is a USB data card, At present unlimited data for 3G is not available in BSNL, but almost unlimited 3G packs available in Prepaid, check it

I am ADSL broad band customer of BSNL from Bathinda for the last 7-8 years but when I went to BSNL offices for getting the discounted Data card (dongle) the concerned officer said that discounted dongle is no more in stock, only dongles for Rs.1350.00 are available. The scheme was for 90 days from 17th July, but in the month of August, the scheme is finished because no dongles are available at discounted rates.

  4. i have been trying to get this dongles in bangalore, first customer care people do not know about this offer, second if you explain they will say, go meet head of customer support then when u explain to them, they say yes there is but no stock, go to other customer care center in other area to check, its a shame the scheme is announced but no stock anywhere, just eye wash...

    1. Schemes are NEVER publicised and/ or implemented properly. Typical PSU mindset ! ..If BSNL was serious to provide good back-up as a service gesture, or otherwise (commercial / marketing), why not implement it ONLINE by door-delivery to existing (old) customers making online requests ??
