BSNL Nano SIM Cards charges for New and Replacement

Pan India 3G Mobile Service Operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has introduced 64K BSNL Nano SIM Cards which are mostly used by mobile capability iPad mini models as well as all iPhone 5 models, with charges for BSNL New and Replacement Mobile Connections.

BSNL Nano SIM cards are the cards of fourth version or 4th Form Factor(4FF) standard of ETSI TS 102 221 V11.0.0 which was introduced early in 2012 having length 12.30(mm), width 8.80(mm), and thickness of 0.67(mm) in size. Nano SIM is the smallest SIM on the market components such as additional memory or larger batteries.
BSNL Nano SIM Card Charges
In order to offer world class telecom services to their customers, BSNL introduced 64K Nano SIM cards in the market, where the charges shall vary for New connection with activation and SIM Replacement for old connection in Prepaid and Postpaid Plans of BSNL Mobile Services.

*Cost of BSNL Nano SIM for Jammu and Kashmir circle will be exclusive of Service Tax.

Where the BSNL Mobile Users of BSNL Normal SIM can also replace their old SIMS with this new NANO SIM to be used in any newly introduced Smartphone, iPhones etc.. and these charges shall be applicable for all available BSNL Prepaid & Postpaid Plans under Mobile Services, and this  newly introduced charges for BSNL 64K Nano SIM Cards shall be common in all circles of BSNL across India.

    1. Through Online it is not possible, you must approach CSC of BSNL and apply for NANO SIM.

  4. I converted from 2G to 3G by sending SMS M3G to 53733, 3G successfully got activated. but I am got 2G internet speed only. Then I purchased #g 128k sim for Rs.139, even after that also I am still getting 2g like speed of 30KB. Where as I have another BSNL 3G sim which gived speed beyound 1MB.. Please help how to get 3G speed?

    1. Select you network as 3G only in Mobile/Datacard and check your speed

    2. The handset setting is in 3G.

      I heard from a BSNL person that by converting to 3G using SMS M3G to 53733 the speed will not be good and it will be 2G speed only, then whats the point in converting to 3G??

    3. The reason is not correct, because total services of 2G is migrating to 3G, please complain about this at 18001801503 and

  13. I have a normal BSNL sim card. Can I cut it into nano? My doubt is because of the chip in the sim is bigger than the other sims .If cut it ,could be unusable. Pls help

    1. if Normal SIM cuts to NANO, it may become unusable, so approach CSC with POI & POA and ask for NANO SIM replacement with same number
