Industrial Dearness Allowance(IDA) rates are based on All India Consumer Price Index (IW) average for the specified months, All India Consumer Price Index [Industrial Workers(IW)] for the month of December 2012, January and February 2013 has increased and stood at 223.
An increase of 5 points of Consumer Price Index is to be included for the IDA rates of April 2013. Based on the average of Consumer Price Index [Industrial Workers(IW)], Industrial Dearness Allowance (IDA) of BSNL Employees is to be increased by 3.4% from 1st April 2013, where at present the Industrial Dearness Allowance(IDA) rate is 71.5% from 01.01.2013.

From 01.04.2013 IDA rates is to be increased to 74.9%, and have a look about Old Industrial Dearness Allowance(IDA) rates of BSNL employees. Department of Public Enterprises will issue the Orders for the same at an earliest.
