      Bsnl customer service is the worst service in the wholeworld, No response to customers enquiry throgh online, They repeating ....preoaid for 1 customer care oerson press 9. And so on for more than an hour without break wasting our time and mobile battery charge. On 15th may 2013 , I paid Rs.550 as re charge thrugh on line bsnl portal. This amount has already been deducted from my bank account,but not yet credited to my mobile no. Now a message received from bsnl .."The amount could not be accounted to your mobile. Please contact customer care for further details. Referecne no is also given.
      But on calling ...repeating the recorded instructions onky for hours
      I tried for more yhan 8 hours from 15 th may till today wasting my time and mobile battery.
      Worlds worst customer care award to be given to them.

Bsnl is made for all class of people rich,middle or poor with fulfilling its social responsibility, can you expect from any pvt opr to do so, remember friends those days when BSNL was not in the Mobile field and what was the mobile tarrif rate 25rs/minute and incomming calls were also highly charged, there for please do not blame the BSNL it has to care for all community although in this process its services are suffered some times.

    2. I also remember the days when BSNL had monopoly over ISD. They used to charge a whopping Rs. 80/- (approx) per minute for a call to the US. Thanks to competition from private sector operators, today the charge is around Rs. 6/- per minute. BSNL (like many other public sector companies) had taken advantage of their status as a monopoly. This talk of "social responsibility" probably needs to be taken with a "pinch" of salt.

It is high time BSNL should suspend and closedown their broadband services, as they cannot compete with others in respect of tariff and quality because of their adamant attitude clubbed with inefficiency. We experience at least 7 to 10 days outage every month In our place and no body responds to our enquiries. They do not tell the reason for outage nor the time for restoration

Earlier it used to charge me 1 paisa/per second for all calls but for last one week, It started charging 1.2 paisa per second on "On" BSNL network and 1.5 paisa per second "off" other network. Can someone please help me with this matter. BTW my subscription is from Assam.

    1. The Tariff of “Per Second Plan” has revised the Local On-net/Off-net charges at 1.2/1.5ps per second and in “Per Minute Plan” at 0.6/0.7ps per minute and video call rate is now 4paisa/second. This New Prepaid Plan Tariff comes into effect from 15-12-2012.

  11. Can BSNL compete with the other GSM service provider like Vodafone and Bharti AIRTEL with the revised call rate? I trust its NO....What does it mean by '"rationalization of call rates as per TRAI regulation"? Its far far from the TRAI regulations...BSNL call center guys are simply hopeless....not at all trained and updated...Even the two customer care guys sitting besides give two different answers of the same queries...:) .....Can BSNL management do adequate training to their rude cust care personnel?
    Can "The Anonymous" gives the proper to the point anwer about rationalization? I get head over heels to understand the various circular and there amendment in the BSNL Portal ? They float a scheme in a given time frame...they withdraw the scheme the next week...the whole story....their cust care guys dont know...not trained and informed...clap clap clap......

  14. I find BSNL's service pathetic in Badlapur (Kalyan Circle). Our line is down since 10-Feb-2013 and till today it's not been resolved. I have a Broadband connection on the same number and obviously it was also not working.

    I have received the bill even for this duration. In fact, this is second such time, where my phone and broadband was not working and still I had to cough up the amount. I submitted an application last time, but no credit has been made to my account. And now, again the Badlapur Exchange Personnel tell me to make the payment and give the application and they will take care.

    I still have to see a Public Sector Company who is worst than BSNL.

      For the above said plan speed Upto 4 Mbps till download or upload data is 12 GB, Beyond 12 GB Download the speed is 256Kbps

    I'm using BSNL broadband connection with landline in more then 1 year, my telephone number is 0421-2218023 . The scheme i joined was unlimited Home plan for Rs 700/-. But for the past one week am not able to access my internet connection. I have been informed several times regarding this problem to Veerapandi Excahnge in Tiruppur but they are not take action yet.
    I felt, it is waste of money for me availing this connection.

  33. I agree with the above comments because i am also getting this type problem in pattukkottai area particularly in Adhirampattinam circle, Karisavayal exchange. The in-charge is local person so that he always sleeping in house and not responding our calls. Why does BSNL want to wasting money in Karisavayal exchange. I request Thanjavur BSNL to look on this matter.
    No connection - no people and no bsnl employee. Pl mind it.

  34. heiii...guys i have a serious issue for my internet speed. what bsnl offered was 512kbps for first 4gb use and 256kbps for later( see its unlimited okk??) and the hurting thing is..am not even getting nearly 30 kbps :( with an avg of 25.45kbps/ am from kannur.. does any body here can help me regarding this?? it will be soo help full

  35. I am registering my complaint against broadband connection, It is not connecting properly i.e. actually it is getting disconnected after every 10 min interval and then automatically reconnects. Sometimes it remains disconnected for more than 10hrs. my DSL light does not glow. I am registering complaint against this issue after every alternate 2 days. Only one time I got the response in which I have now connected the line directly to the modem, still it is not giving any positive response. Nothing is happening and BSNL care is not doing anything more to get my problem solved . Can anyone just tell is there any way to make this complaint to the higher level. I am just fed up of this people.

    1) Why 1500 number for landline kept on ringing and no one picks it up ever? 1503 for mobile works fine but for landline service is pathetic! I am disappointed.

    2) Yesterday I paid my BSNL Landline Bill online via selfcare portal (North Zone). Transaction ID TX26061311200618.

    Money deducted from my bank account (Ref. No. generated) and a message comes from BSNL Portal that ur transaction is failed. And still its not yet reflected in their BSNL portal.

    Sir,
    I am from Rajasthan. And I want to change my BB Plan. When I go to selfcare to do the same the following message appears : "Please contact our customer care or call center executive for the change of existing Broadband plan".

    So please tell me a way to change my BB Plan. The only way that I know to change is to go to BSNL office and fill the BB plan change form and submit it which is very inconvenient in my case as BSNL Office is quite far away from my office plus I don't have time as well.

    So please guide me in this respect to change my BB plan "ONLINE". Link please? Or anything else.

I have Bsnl broadband connection (08026669720) from past 20 days only 3days worked fine then line disconnected. i called to bsnl care & ladge a complaint on 06-07-2013 but no reply comes from bsnl guys. I went bsnl office in many and many times but not even single guys respect to customers there. These are all went in BSNL office kumaraswamy layout bangalore. No guys pick the bsnl lanline office phone. and bill also come to my mobile by sms which was 1350.00 rs. But not yet solved my problem. all bsnl line mans getting more then 35000,00 rupees salary... They not care about commun peoples and their also not controlled by higher athorities. then whome do i contact to solve my problem......?

  51. I am having the worst experience with BSNL, worst customer care service ever,

    I am trying to call BSNL customer care for days, But no representative is answering my call stating " all representative are busy, u will be answered soon, hold the line" but no answer until the call gets cut after an hour. Even the option of leaving message for them is not working, I have left message for two times but no reply has been there for those messages too

    I have had a SPECIAL TARIFF RECHARGE of Rs 574 which gives unlimited STD calls free for 30days, but after only 10 days of recharge, STD calls started to cost me, and my account balance got null, now I am trying to contact to customer care, but no one is answering

    I dont know how many representative they have put at a center to reply to custpomers, is it one only?

    Inform me an option to get the issue resolved as soon as possible

Trying to revive a old GSM mobile number using STV token of Rs34. tried several times and always get a message to contact call centre. as expected, there was no mention of call center number. tried calling on 1503 for MP, no response for flat 20 days. as informed by BSNL official website to write a email at the address: 'bsnl_wscc_bhopal@bsnl.co.in'

    Again as expected, the email bounced off as BSNL is not really interested in listening.

      for Per second Plan-Rs.42, Per minute plan-Rs.37, General plan-Rs.175, Roam free Plan-Rs.198, Pyari Jodi-Rs.75, Student Special-Rs.97 & Jai Jawan Plan-Rs.102.

I am Chetan Mehta, LL no. 02646-255670. since two days i am trying to view my LL bill online. it shows error "phone numbers and account number are mismatching" while as per hardcopies of bills i am receiving, they are matching perfactly. i am struggling to find a website where i can log this complaint since 8 hours, i an not able to find the place where i can do so. there are many places like "customer care" or "portal", none of them is serving the purpose.

      if you want new connection, BSNL will provides you according to technical feasibility only. If it is not possible, go for WiMAX(Wireless Brodband) connection.

Our land line in kinnigoli, Dakshina Kannada not working for last three months and while we ask to the Junior Engineer, first she told lack of staff, then they told the cable is stolen, but we receiving bill for payment regularly even phone is not working. Also while we ask for Broadband internet, they cannot provide, distance more than four kilometer. Still we get lot of promotion on news from BSNL.

  78. I am really shocked to know that BSNL has also indulged in charging the recharged amount for the services I did not ask for. My sim No:9489572105. I recharged for Rs.50 a couple days ago. Today I received a message that I had been charged Rs. 30 for BSNL tunes. Subsequently received another message for recharging Rs.12 for BSNL tunes. It does not apply to sense at all. When I have talk time value for Rs.42.18 how can I go for BSNL tunes. I remain doubtful if the operator is sober. If he is sober he has wantonly done mischief to bring ill name to BSNL

    Really Pathetic. its not just in Palakkad everywhere. If you have good contact with the admins then it can be fixed. This was how things work.
    Recently i am getting frequent disconnects, slow speed.
    its annoying, sadly at work as well is BSNL which is also same issue.
    Come back at home cant use net coz of these issues.
    Call them up, they dont answer. if they do answer, the reply you get is ITS BEING FIXED.
    This is literally teasing us.
    Sadly In this Campus only BSNL is the sole Net provider, so no other option.
    But others if you do get an option plz dont take BSNL.
    For a Connection they will be friendly to you and treat you like a customer, once connection received , You are nothing to them. they are the masters. Well thts how its in Kerala so far both in Palakkad and Kayamkulam area

    This is in response to my complaint with regn. no.1016231240 regarding BROADBAND. How can BSNL close the case when they are not able to provide internet services for 24 hours when it has been paid for it. Several unlimited complaints have been lodged regarding the very poor services but everytime the problem is solved in a very temporary way and again it is a struggling time with the authorities when it stops working. My point is that when BSNL can provide regular good services to big cities why there is so much problem in these small cities. Customers have to struggle to get their work done. Everytime I switch on the internet it takes one to three hours for the link to stabilise but that also for short time and once again wait and complain and again wait to stabilise that also during working hours otherwise one is left stranded during non working hours. My request to authorities is to take up every complaint seriously and try to satisfy the customers who are paying for the services.

  88. Trust me..this is climax of my dissatisfaction with bsnl service.

    I try for last 3 days to call on 1503, 18001801503 but, its always busy.
    I cant trust on this kind of service, they dont know value of customer time, Now i have to go for other service provider.

    Before some day, bsnl customer care person came on line after 18 minits, ITS UNBELIAVABLE, Manytime I feel they are not passionate or happy for giving service to client.

    I feel like
    THEY DONT WANT TO REPLY OR SERVICE, THEY HAVE TO DO IT.

    BSNL SERVICE CANT GIVE YOU SATISFACTION.

    i am devendu, taken a new connection bsnl postpaid gsm sim with plan of 525 per month,
    (No. 9471003652 and A/c No. 378022735) have used the sim very less, internet done was of only approx 100mb,and call charges was approx of Rs 200/-
    Plan 525 has free Rs 425 talk value and 500mb data free.
    Here comes the bill on Dec 1 of Rs. 879/- that shocked me and the bill contains the charge of "Recurring Charges " Rs.682/-. I dont able to understand what is this Rs.682/-. and what is recurring charge.

    The customer care says they can't tell about this any thing please contact bsnl office.

    If this will be the case allways i will be forced to surrender the SIM. Please Help and Suggest.

    We always use the feed back facility to convey our bad experiences.
    I want to express my thanks & appreciation for the best service offered by BSNL technical staff at IIMB exchange, Bangalore.
    I purchased a new modem 10 days back and took it to the telephone exchange office for configuring. The concerned person (Mr. Santosh) helped me in 10 minuets
    Then I noticed that I am getting a low speed of broadband data. i raised a request and they helped me in getting proper download speed. I was unaware of the upload speed of data and hence yesterday raised a request to increase the upload data speed also.
    Surprisingly Mr. Santosh and his colleague called on my residence today. They tested the download / upload speeds at my residence, and confirmed that i am getting the maximum allocated speeds.
    I never knew the staff at telephone exchange, and i had requested for the service as a common customer.
    Once again i thank and appreciate the best and personalized service by BSNL staff.

    BSNL broadband has sufficient download speed depending on selected plans. But I don't understand why they have fixed the upload speed at 1/10th of download speed !. I use Skype video chat. I get a good download speed and good video quality. But the party on the other end gets a bad video quality as my upload speed is too less. I have to opt for a higher plan to have better upload speed. But there also upload speed is 1/10th of download speed. Video chatting is common now a days and many people are unaware of the bad video quality at the other end. Other providers offer better upload speed. In view of the competition in the changed scenario and better service to customers, it is high time for BSNL to review their cap on upload speed.

I went bsnl office in many and many times but not even single guys respect to customers there. These are all went in BSNL office kumaraswamy layout bangalore. No guys pick the bsnl lanline office phone. and bill also come to my mobile by sms which was 1350.00 rs. But not yet solved my problem. all bsnl line mans getting more then 35000,00 rupees salary... They not care about commun peoples and their also not controlled by higher athorities. then whome do i contact to solve my problem......?

But for the past one week am not able to access my internet connection.   115. poor response in clearing the fault.i had a connection failure near my area. connection went last month (26-dec-13) but still no improvement made to restore the fault.they gave me a complaint about corporation had looted teh cable line and never returned.unless they return fault wont be rectified. still waiting for the rectification.But the bad thing is having registered a complaint with BSNL i have been charged for the whole month and they never bothered about the complaint. I feel bad that not even a single person worried about this.they never felt that it was supposed to be any individuals problem. these are things why people dont want anything from a government.those guys get payed of from the government but if something comes in their way they would point at others and easily move away.they would never bother.what if they weren't paid a month salary.will they sit idle for a month or so.Worst experience.
