  2. i agree ! I've taken ULD 900 just because 400 free calls. BSNL is downgrading its service by putting this type of teriff. thumbs down to BSNL

  3. When the rates are falling why this like? It seems BSNL wants to loose more landline customer.

  4. Really people at BSNL want to loose the business. Take my case, I applied for new connection on 01 Dec 12,and got the Connection on 21 Dec 12. Despite my visiting to the JTO's at BSNL Kochi, several times. Its now more than a month, and my connection is still not working properly. The voice is noisy and internet is slow. Kochi Phone number - 2233110. If BSNL officer is seeing my message, I request them to take action.

  5. Good BSNL, you have done right. by withdrawing free calls more & more people will dump BSNL service, eventually BSNL will become sick and GOI will sell it to some private operator on peanuts as done for VSNL. Keep it up.

  6. Seriously BSNL is in ICU ward now due to this recent change ..if they are not waking up then then will go to koma stage then ...i think they are in plan to close the BSNL network that wat making them to take like these chnges

  7. weldone bsnl, last time when i visited the bsnl office of MIRZAPUR DISTRICT some officials told me that condition of bsnl is not very good since 75% of landline & broadband subscribers have withdrawn their connections, and now I am sure the figure of 75% will become 100% very soon and customers will say: "BSNL SE BEKAR KOI NETWORK NAHI; PLEASE DO NOT OPT FOR BSNL IN NEAR FUTURE"

  8. We have been using BSNL service for more than 2 decades in Pondicherry, but the service has come down a little bit.The increase in charges can't be justified at all.Middle class is being hit continuously in all segments.Hats off,but i will still remain as the customer of BSNL as i don't have any other choice.

  9. not a single review is positive. the bsnl now should take a chance to give to privte as per zones. let them earn money they will earn fame for you.keep it secret.

  10. This is crazy as the private companies are offering low call rate plans bsnl is withdrawing all the existing plans.I think this is the combined effect of private sectors to completely wipe out the public sectors and the government is supporting them.....I give up......

  12. If BSNL changes its policy,it should have informed its customers through an e-mail well in advance before implementing it.When some companies calling their service as customer's delight,BSNL CUTS THE THROAT OF CUSTOMERS.It is high time on the part of customers to rethink their choice.

If you are still facing the issue, approach the concerned nodal officer and appellate authority over email.

I got my issues resolved on approaching them.

    Thanks.

This is not communicated to the stake holders.

  15. i am having ULD Combo 900 plan which has 400 free calls to any network already. Now today i got the bill as Rs.1250 for the last month and just wondering why this hike. Why the Bsnl People with out not even intimating to the customers in messages or atleast even in newspaper just hiked the prices.

This is very bad , and i am going to consumer court

  16. I am using 850 uld combo plan since last April and using 350 calls on other net work. Now it is very strange that I have been served bill of Rs. 1032/- instead of 760/- I could not understand that a Govt. undertaking department is doing such illegal activities and trying to cheat the public without taking their consent or even without informing them, which is not expected at all from such organisation. At least they should have given an advertisement calling the attention of the customers to get changed their plans failing which they will charge rates for outside Net work. Moreover the old plans which are going on smoothly they cannot be altered without the consent of the customers. I would appeal to the other customers like me to meet at a common place and to file petition against BSNL in the Consumer Forum for their illegal action and illegal Trade Practice.

  18. Even I was surprised to see my bill for the month of January'13. We have mobile number poratability option for customers but do we have similar facility to move to other BB operator? I am sure it will be a mass exodus. This is grossly wrong execution in BSNL's part.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Did BSNL gave any public notice before restricting Free Calls to BSNL network only ?

If not, this would be a surprise to the consumers as soon as they see the January's bill.

I am seriously planning either to surrender the connection or to migrate to other network as of now we can no longer survive without the broadband connection for payment of utility bills. As timid customers in this corrupt society we are left with no alternatives but to silently bear the brunt of policy makers. 23. We are using the BB Combo service and the Land line is noisy in our area always for the past Six years, which is not at all rectified after making many complaints. Now the tariff also changed. So, ultimately they will loose many customers in our area. Like this in all circles BSNL may loose it's customers to Competitors.

Even in Mobile service - If there is no power the signal strength becomes Nil.

  24. BSNL is supposed to inform customers in writing, within a week,
the complete details of his tariff plan after revision. The changes in any item/aspect of tariff in the chosen plan shall also be intimated to the customers in writing.

I thought there is a mistake in billing complaint and i submitted a complaint to BSNL .Before changing the plans it should be intimate to the customer well in advance so that if we don't like it we can cancel the connection .

Poor publicity about revision in rates. In their bill issued in Jan 2013 for previous month, only free calls of BSNL to BSNL is advised in one sentence in a small column in the bill. No advise on revision of rates. Same not mentioned in Fab'2013 bill in which the revisions are incorporated. I had to go to the customer service centre to find out about it. They could have used the space to educate the customer in bright bold letters about the changes. However, in both the bills, their regular advertisements are exhibited in attractive, bold, shaded colours. Shame.

  29. BSNL USER 600 COMBO25 February 2013 at 19:10

what if someone paid 2yrs payment in advance for that 600 combo tariff plan.
he paid for that tariff plan bcoz it has 250 free calls.
and now from 1st jan2013 they changed it.
    now no more free calls.
    what is this??
    what should he do??
BSNL took money in advance for their tariff and someday suddenly they change their plans without notifications.
stick to the plan. why BSNL needs to change plan every year,
ppls were satisfied with those plans.
    i dnt understand BSNl's Policy.
make new plans, why u need to revised it.

    1. BSNL has also clarified that “existing Broadband customers, who are already under Annual/Two year/Three year payment option before revision in tariff, they may not be charged the revised tariff till the expiry of their current Annual/Two year/Three year subscription.”

for details please take a look at

  30. Its very much shocking. This firm is implenting their policies against common man.BSNL do not have any future and i am also thinking of surrender of my connection because of this irresposible behaviours of BSNL.They even didnt understand it necessary to inform the users.
They should rethink because BSNL do not have any MONOPOLY
    Maintain your prestige.

  31. BSNL intimate about this modification through bills
Its better to check back side of the bill clearly.........i.e;III. Free calls in Bb combo plans are applicable sticks to BSNL N/W only......

    ReplyDelete
  32. BSNL should have atleast split the available free calls 25% on net and 75% off net with charges applicable beyond these limits. Hope BSNL has some good sense to scrap their new tariff arrived without consent of consumers and restore the old rates immediately. The amount collected in excess without proper approval shall be adjusted in the subsequent bills. TRAI, were you atleast informed???

    ReplyDelete
  33. When we were availing some facilities from BSNL, instead extending facilities it ceasing the same. TRAI should reconsider the same.

  34. what is bsnl own network,is it applicable in bsnl mobile in another city?

  35. Shame on BSNL, one can easily understand that BSNL higher official are sold out to some private service providers(I can't provide the prof). BSNL will achieve nothing by increasing tariff rates and by restricting free calls within BSNL n/w only just they are gonna loss existing customers. Wake up BSNL wake up..!!

  36. I am one of the bb subscribers since the last 6 years. Hitherto till 31.12.2012 there was no problem but from 1.1.2013 the bb usage charges are steeply hiked and free calls eligible facility is allowed to only bsnl n/w calls.Other n/w calls are charged at 1.20 per MCU which has become a great burden to all bb subscribers like me who are using different bb plans. Therefore I suggest that the other n/w calls be charged say 30 paise or so per MCU instead of 1.20 at present whereby some portion of bsnl burden will be borne by subscribers. As bsnl n/w calls generally constitute say 10 to 15 percent of the calls made because of other n/w friends/acquaintances charging of 1.20 per MCU amounts to double taxation to subscribers.

Further bb usage charges be revised to say 23 to 24 paise per MB instead of charging 30 paise per MB as charged at present. By this there will be some relief to subscribers as usage of internet has become a must to persons because of the changing economy, fast paced developments etc. Kindly examine the issues at the earliest and see that some relief is provided to subscribers.Your earliest possible attention/action is awaited.

    Thanking you

  38. BSNL service in my exchange(Pookad, Calicut) is very poor. From day one, my ADSL connection never go beyond the 256 speed. As well as I had an issue with the call centre people about my mobile. Since they unable to resolve my issue, I took my case to calicut Office and made a written complaint. Finally they resolved my issue. Overall.... i'm not happy with the BSNL :(

  39. I am a retired govt. employee and a subscriber of unlimited broanband
    plan user.

So far the free 100 calls to any network have been useful to me in a great way.

but now due to confining these free calls to bsnl network made me to pay above Rs.200.00 every month as my all calls are to other network only.

Now I am thinking of to change the service provider with heavy heart as I am attached to using of bsnl landline phone from several year with great effection.

When I first booked for the bsnl phone around 1975 I took almost three years to get the phone for me. That was the demand for the bsnl phone at that time and it used to gave great pleasure and pround of having a phone in the house.

  40. Sir, I refer to one of the comments made by a subscriber dt.5-4-2013 and the reply given by Sri Madhu Mohan stating that he has requested to BSNL authorities. Eventhough sufficient time has already elapsed nothing is done in this regard.

I am also a BSNL bb plan user combo 500 plan since long. As free calls are allowed only to the calls of BSNL n/w only it has become a greatest handicap and the stipulation of 175 free calls has only become a sop as seen in the mirror. Hence kindly see that the matter is taken up in your apex level meetings and an amicable solution/conclusion is arrived at in your own interest and in the interest of lakhs of BSNL subscribers who are different bb plan users. By this all subscribers will heave sigh of some relief and exodus of people to other networks can be curbed.

As I am a patron of BSNL I request you to do the needful urgently on my own behalf and on behalf of lakhs of subscribers before it is too late. Please also revise bb usage charges.I solicit your kind reply.

    Thanking you
