BSNL Mobile SIM Card Replacement Charges for 2G/3G Prepaid and Postpaid GSM Services

PAN India 3G Mobile Service operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited(BSNL) has revised the Replacement / Duplicate / Dummy SIM charges for 2G / 3G Prepaid and Postpaid GSM Services with effect from 19th November 2012, among this revision the largest telecom operator BSNL has clarified the following queries under GSM Services.

What will be SIM replacement charges for 2G/3G Micro SIM ?
a) SIMs (including Micro SIM etc.) with memory size of 32K  and 64K will have uniform replacement charge of Rs.100 (inclusive of S. Tax).
b) SIMs (including Micro SIM etc.) with memory  size more than 64 K i.e. 128 K or others will have replacement cost of Rs.139 (Inclusive of S. Tax)

What will be SIM replacement charges for C-Top-up SIM ?
The SIM replacement charges for C-Top-up SIM will be Rs.20 (inclusive of S. Tax)

    1. Approach your nearest Customer services center of BSNL with valid ID+Address proof and get the replacement sim with the same number by paying the charges.

    1. No, Inter state MNP is not available at present, recharge with Roaming Free Plan and get all incoming calls as free in Roaming.

    1. In all over India Micro SIMs are not available with BSNL, in this huge competitive telecom market, PSU can't maintaining the stock which is more useful to the customers, then how they can survive, these are all managing by high level officials in BSNL to make favor to private operators.

      Today all smartphones are come Micro SIM slot, but BSNL cannot have the stock, what a shame about telecom PSU

  10. i am currently using iPhone 4 with airtel (micro) sim card. i want to change it to bsnl. i went to bsnl telephone exchange before 3 months to change into bsnl micro sim. they said give your mobile number we will call you when bsnl micro sim available. still i'm waiting no calls from bsnl.
    suggest me what to do next.

    1. Hi Ayyappan, tell your mother to approach nearest BSNL CSC along with your POI & POA along with her POI & POA and request BSNL authorities for replacement of SIM card, As per rules they wiill not provide, but in any excemption by hearing all the situations they may be issued, try like this
