BSNL revised GPRS/EDGE tariff under 2G Prepaid and Postpaid Data Services

Pan India 3G Mobile Service operator Bharat Sanchar Nigham Limited (BSNL) has announced the revision of revised GPRS / EDGE tariff under 2G Prepaid / Postpaid Data in mobile which offerings internet in GSM services.

The Customers of Prepaid and Postpaid who were using 2G GPRS Packs of Rs.98 and Rs.89 will get 1250 MB free data usage after revision instead of 2GB. BSNL will launched 2 GB new GPRS Plan for Rs.125 in Prepaid and Rs.111 in Postpaid category.

BSNL Circles can suitably adjust the Prepaid MRP in the price band up to Rs.5 (+/-) of above price considering the local market and technical feasibility.

This Free Data usage can be used as ‘Home and Roam’ areas. In earlier all the private operators has revised their call rates and GPRS Packs due to continuous fall in call rates and operating margins. The announcement of revision of new 2G GPRS/EDGE Packs in Prepaid and Postpaid GSM Services will comes into effect from 1st October 2012(BSNL 12th Formation Day).
