    I applied for a broadband connection under rural scheme via above mentioned link and got a confirmation number on my mobile number.

    The executive called me and confirmed that the installation cannot be done since there is no BSNL connection in surrounding area!

    Please advice.

    1. It is to clarify that, rural broadband plans is already a discounted plans, so there is no applicability of another discount on rural bb plans. so employee discount is applicable on regular bb home and combo plans only

    1. The Modems (CPEs) given to the new broadband customers by BSNL on rental / outright purchase will be under AMC for 5 years (including 2 years warranty period), so approach concerned BSNL authorities and ask for repair/replacement

    1. if your telephone connection connected with Rural Exge, then your broadband connection will eligible for Rural Plans. Rural plans are already discounted plans, if opted for Rural Plans, then 10% employee discount is not applicable.
