    2. So what about rent for 3 months? Because it is BSNL property in my home. Like landline and Modem. What rent will they charge in bill.?

    3. safecustody is applicable only for landline services, Broadband is an extra facility on same landline. if you close Broadband connection, you may eligible for safecustody with prescribed charges

If Broad Band is closed before surrender (in the case of COMBO Plan) and a request is given for safe custody of the Land line connection. Whether it will attract monthly rental charge for landline during safe custody period? Some one from BSNL should give clear cut answer.

    1. it is not possible and it is not required, broadband service is an additional facility on landline, so safecustody of landline is enough

  9. I had a landline phone with broadband in rural area. I left my station on 5th May, 2015 for more than 3 months to visit other place. At the time of leaving my original station, I had given a application to BSNL to keep my broadband and landline phone in safe custody for 3 months. From the bill it seems that BSNL has discontinued my broadband facility and charging Rs. 150/- P.M. instead of Rs. 30/- P.M. (the fixed charges of Safe custody). I am in the opinion that I have to pay Rs. 30 x 3 in advance for safe custody charges, which I had not paid due to lack of knowledge. Kindly let me know that can I pay the safe custody charges now @ Rs. 30/- P.M.
