BSNL Karnataka New Mitra Prepaid Plan under 2G/3G GSM Mobile Services, Details of Plan and Tariff

BSNL Karnataka circle has recently introduced the New Karnataka Mitra Plan with lowest tariff for BSNL Prepaid customers in 2G and 3G GSM Mobile Services along with their prepaid Corporate Plans.
BSNL Mitra Plan
Karnataka New Prepaid Plan allows the facilities of initial talktime of 50 minutes( to be consumed within 30days from date of activation). Free 100 SMS and reduced voice call charges to Friends and Family numbers (FNF), Free SMS every month, Video calls & Voice calls, and this plan states that it is most successful plan in Karnataka.

All special tariff vouchers STV's should be used in this plan and the SIM cost of 2G is Rs 20/- and 3G is Rs 59/-.
Details of old Tariff of New Karnataka Mitra Prepaid Plan
New Karnataka Mitra Prepaid Plan shall be available to 2G and 3G customers upto 31-03-2013 only.

Customers can activate or choose the 5 Friends and Family numbers by sending SMS
FFE<space>1stnumber<space>2ndnumber<space>3rdnumber<space>4thnumber<space>5thnumber  to 53733 .
EX:- FFE 94XXXXXXXX 94XXXXXXXX 94XXXXXXXX 94XXXXXXXX 94XXXXXXXX to 53733

Customers can change the  Friends and Family numbers by sending SMS
FFM<space>1stnumber<space>2ndnumber<space>3rdnumber<space>4thnumber<space>5thnumber  to 53733 . M ,indicates modification.Rs.10 per change per number will be charged.
EX:- FFM 94XXXXXXXX 94XXXXXXXX 94XXXXXXXX 94XXXXXXXX 94XXXXXXXX to 53733

M-indicates modification, Rs.10 per change per number will be charged.

For all 2G prepaid to 3G Prepaid General plan is M3G

  4. Dear Sir,
    I've taken a prepaid mobile connection in Bangalore (2G) and topped-up with Rs.220/- voucher on 24th Dec. 2012. After 2 days when I checked for the balance through *123# I found to my dismay that Rs.13/- has been deducted from my balance amount. I have neither made any calls nor subscribed to any services. I am senior citizen and I cannot bear the such unauthorized deduction. Kindly check for the same and correct the balance amount. There is no BSNL portal to report the same also. Hence I posted here.

    2. Hi I tried top-up with Rs29/-, it failed. Even Recharge with 29/- did not succeed. There seems to be some error in BSNL Call center systems, the call to 1503 does not go into "prepaid services". Pls help fast, my number is already in grace period, I need to extend its validity.     5. Pls recharge with Rs.29 through C-TOP UP only [Not TOPUP only Recharge]
      Details are:-
      Initial validity will be 180 days , after the expiry of validity, customers have to use Plan Voucher costing Rs.29 for further extension. Similarly the customers who wish to migrate to New Karnataka Mitra Scheme also can use the Plan Voucher costing Rs.29.
      Existing Karnataka Mitra customers, in case recharge with plan
      voucher-29 for extending validity, they will be migrated to New Karnataka Mitra plan & they have re-register F&F numbers once again.

Dear Maidsund, Pls recharge with Rs220/- through Online between 20th to 24th of june 2013 at below link from anywhere, so that you can get the talktime of Rs.195+ and 6 months validity from date of recharge, there is no facility to receive SMS in USA, international roaming is not available in Prepaid, its available in Postpaid only.

    I have a Karnataka 2G Mitra Prepaid. My sim is 3G but I have been using GPRS subscription so far. Now, I want to start using 3G data. Sent a SMS to 53733 with M3G first, then M3GY. But, I get the sms that request for transfer to 3G has failed.
    Please guide me on how to start using 3G data. Now, my recharges for 3G data through portal.bsnl.in fails.

  29. I was having 5 friends & familly numbers associated with my number.
    And i wanted to change one number in that list.i sent
    FFM oldnumber and newnumber to 53733 then i got message that its invalid request.

    Then i sent FFE only the new number.It registered but all my old numbers got removed from the FNF list.

    Please help me to make my final 5 numbers list proper.

  45. Sir, I am a Karnataka mitra plan subscriber since one year. The call charges now are 1.2 paise on net and 1.5 paise off net with 100 sms which is for on net only. Off net smss are charged 0.60 per sms which is not correct as generally the friends and acquaintances to whom smss are sent all are not or cannot be BSNL subscribers.Off net smss constitute almost 85%. This is a great loss to the BSNL mobile subscriber. Hence kindly see that the on net off net clause is removed and also see that to compete with stiff competition among other network mobiles the call rates are also reduced as 1 paise for on net calls and 1.2 paise for offnet calls so that more persons will think of coming/subscribing to BSNL and thus the exodus to other networks by BSNL subscribers can be avoided. As I am a patron of BSNL kindly see that my suggestion is taken due note of and implemented immediately in BSNL's own interest as well as that of subscribers. Further the validity extension period be raised to at least 3 years so that repeated validation once in 6 months (180 days) can be avoided. For example Airtel mobile n/w validity is for 24 years. Please look into the matters urgently and implement the same. I solicit your reply.
