Telecommunication Definition - BSNL Formation Day with Services

Telecommunication is the exchange of information over significant distances by electronic means. A complete, single telecommunications circuit consists of two stations, each equipped with a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter and receiver at any station may be combined into a single device called a transceiver. The medium of signal transmission can be electrical wire or cable(also known as "copper") optical fiber or electromagnetic fields. The free-space transmission and reception of data by means of electromagnetic fields is called wireless.

The simplest form of Telecommunications takes place between two stations. however, it is common for multiple transmitting and receiving stations to exchange data among themselves. such an arrangement is called a telecommunications network. Ex :- The internet

Telecommunication and Broadcasting worldwide are overseen by the International Telecommunication Union(ITU), an agency of the United Nations(UN) with headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. Most Countries have their own agencies that enforce telecommunications regulations formulated by their governments. In the United States, that agency is the Federal Communications Commission(FCC).

  1. Dear BSNL Team, I feel and suggest that the business users are using BBG Combo ULD 1350 which plan's Bandwidth (DL Speed) is Upto 4Mbps till 20 GB, 512 Kbps after 20 GB # is not sufficient as they are not getting sufficient beyond 20 GB. It should be 1 GB instead of 512 Kbps so as net users can avail minimum speed at internet centres.

  8. My BSNL Net plan is Home Combo 999 and test the modem speed, it come to 1.60 Mbps. Please advise whether I need to upgrade the modem or to change the BSNL plan

    1. As BSNL provide 4 Mbps at 999* avg low should be 3.5 not below than that. If it occurs check your modem if old than upgrade firmware else replace with a new. If ok from modem side go to BSNL office and complain about it.

  14. This is for the 3rd time, this time on the advice of a friend,I switched to BSBL Broadband but sorry to point out that services in my area are the poorest. Low/poor signals, despite being subscribed to BSNL, I am necessitated to make use of Vodafone (Haryana) prepaid as BSNL Broadband does not work at any point of time before 8 a.m. or after 8 p.m. I do not find any signals. BSNL technicians do not advise to go in for modem from the department and advise double antenna modem either of D-link or Netgear. Having bought double antenna Netgear modem, the wifi range reflected is poor or low and it hardly works. BSNL the giant telecom service provider in HARYANA must improve quality of its broadband services otherwise they should not capture market on the false promises.
For the present, I am highly dissatisfied with their services and feel that it is sheer wastage of money subscribing to BSNL 675 plan as it does not work at all.
